Troy Kramer is an associate at Beckham Portela who focuses his practice primarily on complex civil business litigation, breach of contract, corporate and entity law, and real property. Troy currently handles multiple multi-million-dollar matters for our clients involving contract disputes against opponents ranging from private individuals to large corporations to even Texas municipalities. He has extensive experience in the discovery phase of litigation, including conducting written discovery, attending depositions, researching complex legal issues, and drafting pleadings and dispositive motions.
Troy is a double-graduate from Pepperdine University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Seaver College and his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine’s Caruso School of Law. At Pepperdine, Troy founded the 3+3 Accelerated Program, combining his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate into a 6-year program. He also served at the Editor-in-Chief for the Pepperdine Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, and was a Student Ambassador for the law school’s Office of Admissions. During his time in undergrad, Troy studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was a member of the Pepperdine Ambassadors Council, and served as Vice President of his Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
In his free time, Troy enjoys playing volleyball, going to concerts, and cooking.
